Super Healthcare offers adults of any age or status a professional and reliable way to access care services when you need it. This type of care can be from a few hours during the day to overnight stays and provides relief for family members who provide care for an adult or disabled loved one. Respite care is often needed on a temporary, limited, or occasional short term basis.
Our service activities are designed to take into account our service users' wants and needs, no matter the duration of the respite care. We carry on with what you like and add a whole list of activities you might just want to add to your regular engagement.
Affordable short term care
Super Healthcare can provide short term care to help the primary carer on a short term basis. We understand how difficult it can be sometimes to always be there for somebody you love and care for, so why not let us take over for a few hours while you have a much needed break.
For individuals & couples
Our Respite Care also gives the carer time to be with their loved ones and relax and enjoy each other's company. Your respite carer can do all of your chores, house work, run errands and feed your pets while you spend quality time with each other doing what couples do.
Putting respite to the test
Choosing care is a very important decision to make and can take time to decide. Because respite care is temporary it can be a great way to help in making this decision, using it as a trial period to see if Live-in Care is right for you and/or your loved ones.
Short-term care for rehabilitation
Many people need short term live-in support through a period of recuperation or convalescence, such as in the few weeks after returning from the hospital. We can provide a live-in carer at these times, to support them back to their independence.

We understand the selflessness and commitment of caring for a loved one and recognise the importance of allowing that well-deserved break; that's why our respite care service can provide a live-in carer to cover the break of an existing carer, ensuring peace of mind that their loved one is receiving the care and support they need. Respite care at home can be arranged on an ad-hoc basis or a regular arrangement, from a cover of one week up to many weeks.
Minimal disruption
Respite care at home allows people to remain in their own home, meaning minimal disruption for the service user.
The live-in carers will follow the care plan to allow the service user to continue their lifestyle and receive the support they are used to, keeping that consistency of care and peace of mind for loved ones.
